Through his Beginner’s World Tennis, Mark introduced thousands of players to the game. He attracted new students with an innovative format of tennis parties and team tennis leagues, along with community-based lessons and special events. Mark also established leagues in several area school districts. His work was recognized by the USTA with the Eve Kraft Community Service Award in 2004 and the Janet Louer USTA Junior Team Tennis National Organizer of the Year Award in 2018. Mark also received a Tennis magazine Top 5 Teachers USA award.
